I'm a writer. I'm a writer who hasn't been writing enough, so here's a bit of my uncut self for your enjoyment.
My name is Brian and I'm 24 with two degrees (English and Creative Writing) and I don't think I have anything to show for it as of yet. I will be attending boat building school (yes, like wooden boats) this fall and that's pretty much about it.
Well, that's not pretty much it. Actually there is way, way more. There has been one comment made to me that I have heard again and again since middle school: You think too much. I think about everything constantly, I have opinions on most of it and I take great joy in hearings the opinions of others; I do this to both hear what the person has to say, but also to see if I like any of what they have to say. I'm always trying to find the best way to accurately communicate to others how I really see the world.
That being said (and after sounding like I was filling out a profile for a dating site), I wanted to say that I'm going to talk about anything here. Sometimes sports, local events, things I hear, see, do, think of, etc. There will be times that I post several things in one day. There will be a week or two that passes where I write nothing, but hopefully by then I will have a few readers and someone will tell me to post again. But who knows, for now this is where I can vent and (at least while I'm writing the blog) no one can argue with me.
I hope you enjoy my ramblings, but more importantly I hope you have something to say in return.
